Ronald Seay Jones

Ronald Seay Jones passed away surrounded by family on March 24, 2019 after battling with illness for several years. Ron was born on July 9, 1954 in Glendale, California to Chester and Gay Jones. As a child, he oftentimes got into mischief with his brother, which kept their mother on her toes. She would send him to his room only to find out that he enjoyed playing with his toys while he was there. He enjoyed scuba diving and welding as he grew into his adolescent years (he began welding at 15 years old), and continued to pursue a lifetime career of commercial welding and fabrication as an adult. He moved to Nevada in his mid-twenties where he and his first wife, Linda Eddy, had their first and only child in Carson City. He then moved to Lovelock, Nevada, where he met the love of his life, Deb, and fulfilled a happy marriage of 24 years with her. He has always been known for his wonderful sense of humor, brilliance in design and creativity, and an uncanny ability to make friends with nearly anyone he met. He will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife Deb Jones, daughter Sheena Jones, stepson Jamie Burgman, sister Leslie Kadz (Roger), brother Rob Jones (Ginger), three step-granddaughters Taylor, Kennedy, and Reagan, and step-great-grandson Andrez. A party in his honor will be held in Lovelock at a later date.
