Stan Dalton Jennings

Stan Dalton Jennings, 58, of Las Vegas Nevada, passed away on November 25th. 

 

Stan was born on September 20th 1964, to parents Drew and Utahna Jennings in Las Vegas, NV. After graduating from Bonanza High School in 1982, he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in the Oklahoma Tulsa mission. 

 

After serving he returned home to Las Vegas, where he fell in love with and married his dear wife, Maria Lee (Jensen) Jennings. As their family grew. Stan continued his education, and graduated from the University of Las Vegas Nevada with his Master’s Degree in Social Work. 

 

Stan is survived by his wife, Maria Jennings, their 6 children, Austin (Aurielle), Hayden (Margie), Kyle (Alexis), Amanda, Preston (Charli), and Marucs, and 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Sheilah Ingram, and Susan Owens (Jim), brothers-in-law Brian Jensen (Laura), Sean Jensen (Sheila) and sister-in-law Cathrine VanBuskirk (Matt), many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. 

 

Stan spent his days working at Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Center, where he was a Substance Abuse & Mental Health Counselor. He enjoyed spending his time helping others and giving sound advice whenever it was needed. During his time off, he could always be found working in his woodshop creating beautiful works of art for his loved ones and spending time with his family.   

  

Funeral services will be held at 3400 W Charleston, Las Vegas Nevada, 89102, on Thursday December 1st 2022. Visitation will be from 10-10:45 with the funeral service following at 11 am. 

Stan’s family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
