Thane J Hendricks

Thane J Hendricks, 86, of Las Vegas, NV, returned to his Heavenly Father on March 9, 2023.  He was born February 27,1937, in Provo, Utah and was married to Betty Ann Goldman in 1955. They were sealed for time and eternity in the Idaho Falls, Idaho Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Thane moved his family to Las Vegas in 1961 where he began a 51 year career at EG&G after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Physics from Idaho State University.  Thane was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he served in numerous capacities.   He enjoyed singing throughout his lifetime and has participated in numerous groups.

Thane and Betty have eight children.  Thane was preceded in death by his wife Betty,  daughter Andrea Hendricks, parents, Milo and Rhoda Hendricks, and step- sisters Shirley Gilstrap and Arlene Jackson.  He is survived by brothers, Milo (Gailene) Hendricks, Lance (Bonnie) Hendricks, Kent (Jo) Hendricks, Sister Karla (Gary) Huntsman and step sister, Barbara Harper; children Brett (Debbie) Hendricks, Terri (Pete) Gagliardo, Craig (Jackie) Hendricks, Kevin (Shauna) Hendricks, Karen (David) Squires, Janet Lewandowski, and Dana (Dan) Layton, 26 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.

Viewing will be 10:00-10:45 a.m., Friday, March 24, with services following at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 6051 Dorrell Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
