Tony J. West

Tony J. West (Verdecchia), born September 18, 1953 in Flint, Michigan to Mary Lou (Schmidt-West-Flamio) Verdecchia and Armand J. Verdecchia. Tony was later adopted by Wilson West. Tony attended Academy High School, Penn State Behrend and Community College of Southern Nevada. Tony worked in the sales department at GTE, the Avalon, and Scully’s in Erie before relocating to Las Vegas. Tony was very active in politics and the Catholic Church. Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou (Schmidt) Flamio, and father, Armand J. Verdecchia. Tony is survived by three brothers; Joseph Flamio of Las Vegas, Nevada, James Flamio of Bonaire, Georgia, and Keith West, of Nashville, Tennessee; nephews Landon Flamio and Joseph Flamio III; neice Lexi Flamio; and great uncle to Demi Gurdian. Tony was cremated in Las Vegas. His remains will be distributed on a beach he came to love while visiting with his brothers in Hawaii.
