The Clark County and Washoe County Coroner’s Offices utilize a local mortuary for all transfers. Families are NOT obligated to use the services of the Coroner’s Contracted Mortuary. Families are also NOT responsible to pay fees for the transport services of the Coroner’s Contracted Mortuary.
If the Coroner is involved in your loved one’s case and was transferred into the care of the Coroner’s Contracted Mortuary, we can assist you with transferring him or her into our care.
